Homework due October 29th

For this weeks HW. Your focus will be on reading through your novel 

The Once and Future King

You should be at least 1/2 way through with the book. If you are not, your goal for this week should be to read to the end of book 2. 

Book 2 is a fairly short section. Do your best to stay on track with what you are reading.

Try to take note of what  is occurring within the Plot, setting and Character as you are reading. This will help you to implement the skill of analyzing literature as you read. If you see anything of importance or note any literary devices... Try marking them with pencil in your margins so tha you can refer back to them later on.

When Reading your book, you should be seeking the little nuggets within that are helping to form your opinion of the book. It should almost seem as if you are on a treasure hunt, with each little "clue" bringing you closer to the treasure at the end of the book ( Theme).
